Musings on art and artistry. This is a blog where I’ll post spotlights of my favorite artists and artworks, as well as talk about miscellaneous other art topics. While I post all kinds of art from many periods, I tend to focus on European and American design and graphic art from the late 19th and early 20th century, Japanese graphic art and design of the Edo through the Taisho period, and Chinese art and design of the Qing dynasty.
